Willis Tower Grows Existing Tenant Base

CHICAGO —U.S. Equities is pleased to announce that full-service law firm Tressler LLP is expanding its space at Willis Tower by nearly 10 percent to 83,000 square feet and extending its lease by five years.

A Willis Tower tenant for more than 17 years, Tressler LLP cited the prestige of the iconic tower, its prime location and the ability to accommodate its expanding business needs as primary reasons for extending its lease.

"The choice to expand at Willis Tower was simple: there is no better location in the city of Chicago in which to do business," said Tressler LLP partner D.J. Sartorio. "Its proximity to public transportation, onsite amenities and ability to accommodate our growth plans perfectly suits our needs in best serving our clients."

Tressler's Chicago office is home to nearly 175 attorneys and staff.

"The extension of Tressler is an example of a developing growth trend we are seeing from Willis Tower tenants. We are happy to meet the growing needs of our current tenants," said Mike Kazmierczak, senior vice president of leasing, U.S. Equities Asset Management, LLC. "We continue to see strong leasing activity and interest from current and prospective tenants going forward."

Willis Tower completed more than 1.2 million square feet in leasing transactions in 2009 and 2010, including the addition of Willis Group Holdings and United Airlines.
